Robotics and Practical Effects

Indy Mogul did an interview with Steve Giralt of The Garage about some of the practical VFX that he's done. You've probably seen one of his shots somewhere on the internet (my first encounter with Steve's work was the Hershey's Smores Ad). His work is incredible.

Learning how to light and shoot products is a essential skill for a filmmaker and since Steve does it 1000% better than everyone else, he's a great mentor. He also recently fired up his Youtube page where he's teaching robotics basics and fabrication basics.
