The Game Awards 2017
The Game Awards took place this week, streaming on pretty much every online platform that has streaming capabilities. The show was very well done with a live orchestra performing some sweet mixes using songs from the nominated games. Of the winners, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild won Game of the Year. It was also no surprise that the crazy hand drawn animation used in Cuphead won Best Art Direction. That game also won Best Debut Indie and Best Indie overall. Also, a shout out to Melina Juergens who is Ninja Theory’s video editor and was given her first acting job in the title role. She also wore a motion capture suit like a boss.
